I'm so excited to see you at Shear Harmony Hair Salon! I wanted to make this transition as easy as possible so I created answers to questions I thought you might have about our new adventure together. Please review the options below for information regarding arrival, booking appointments, and transferred appointments. I'll see you soon!

Parking | Metro 

Building entrance is facing Wilson Blvd between N Vermont St and N Glebe Rd. 

Tazewell Street Parking | Parkmobile up to 2 hours | 54845 | Walk toward N Vermont St and take a right. Take an immediate right at the next block onto Wilson Blvd. Entrance will be on the right.

LAZ Parking | 750 N Glebe Road | Up to 1 hour - $6 | 1 to 2 hours - $11 | 3+ hours - $14 | Hours of Operation Monday - Friday 7am - 7pm | Accepts VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover | Target will validate $6 if you make a purchase | Elevators exit through Target. Exit Target, take a left passing Silver Diner, and Salon Lofts will be the next entrance.

Shear Harmony Hair is a convenient 7 minute walk from the Ballston Metro Station. You will walk two blocks down on N Stuart Street toward Wilson Blvd. Take a right onto Wilson for two blocks, crossing the street at Glebe. You will see Salon Lofts located directly next to Silver Diner and Target. 

How to arrive

Please arrive early for your appointment and wait for me in the lounge waiting area (3 brown chairs if you walk around). I will come out to meet you at your appointment time and bring you to my space (Loft 1)! Can’t wait to see you! 

When arriving late

It's inevitable. Sometimes traffic or life will get the best of us and throw our schedules out of whack.

At your earliest realization please notify me via text, (571)455-1204, to let me know your expected arrival time so I can make adjustments with clients who will be arriving later on my schedule or with my personal events. Please review the Late Policy below, for your convenience. All policies are also conveniently listed on my FAQ page. 


Late Policy
I understand sometimes things happen and will allow a grace period of arriving up to 10 minutes late for your appointment. However, if arriving more than 10 minutes past your appointment time, a late fee in the amount of $25 will be added to your service charges. Arriving late to the point where I need to cancel any existing services is considered a last minute cancellation and penalty details specified in the Cancellation Policy may apply. Excessive continuation of arriving late may result in my refusing future services all together. 

Payment methods

Shear Harmony Hair accepts the following payment methods: American Express, Discover, Visa, and Mastercard, Checks are not accepted. Venmo and cash are welcome for gratuities only.

How to book an appointment

Appointments will be self managed with an exception of booking our next appointment together in the salon. New guests, please direct yourself to my New Guest page to set up your first appointment. 

 

Clients, you can access your online booking link in your Shear Harmony Hair Salon app. There is also a tutorial available in your app for your convenience if needing any guidance on how to book, reschedule, cancel, or look up your appointments.

Transitioning to Shear Harmony Hair

I know what you may be thinking! I already have your app. Well I have a new one.. and it's better! This will be your new hub to manage appointments, access tutorials, and connections all in one location. Just click the link below and save to your home screen. If you have any struggles doing so, don't sweat it! I'll help and walk you through everything at your first appointment.

Do I already have an appointment?

Are you wondering if you had an appointment with me at my last salon and, if so, what you should do now? Well hopefully this segment will give you the answers you need.

All appointments were officially transferred over to my booking system as of Wednesday, January 11 at 5:30pm. If you made or modified any appointments with PR at Partners after that time frame, I cannot guarantee those changes transferred over. 

All of my clients, regardless of whether they had an appointment, should have received an email headed Welcome to Shear Harmony Hair informing them of my move. If needing to see if you have an existing appointment, make any alterations to your existing appointment, or book an appointment, please view the appropriate tutorial provided in the links below.

Did my deposit transfer?
 

Fortunately, I discontinued taking deposits in late July and was able to use up everyone's existing deposits. I double checked everyone's account to the best of my ability to ensure that there were no remaining deposits. If you feel this is not the case and believe you still have a deposit that was placed with PR at Partners, the receptionists should be able to look it up in the system to see if one is present. However I cannot guarantee that they will be willing to refund it, if one exists.

Is my appointment at PR cancelled?

Unfortunately I did not have the means to cancel everyone's appointment when leaving PR at Partners. Understandably, it is possible that you will receive a phone call from our receptionists asking how you wish to move forward with any existing appointments. Due to the volume of people that were on my book, if wishing to cancel or modify your appointment at PR, I kindly request you handle it directly with them. Their phone number is (703)683-6600.
